Caesarstone Fence Installation: The Los Angeles Owner’s Guide

Caesarstone fence installation in Los Angeles typically runs $4,130 – $10,620 installed, depending on the fence style, linear footage, and whether we’re repairing an existing run or building new. We stock Caesarstone-compatible fence components on our trucks and can usually complete most residential fence jobs within two to five working days once materials are confirmed. Most Los Angeles homeowners discover their fence has failed the hard way: a gate that drags against the pavers after a wet winter, a post that leans after the soil shifts, or a section that’s started pulling away from the house line during a Santa Ana wind event.

We’re Elmstead Remodeling, an independent Los Angeles contractor led by Graham Stein. We’re not affiliated with Caesarstone, but we’ve installed and serviced Caesarstone fence materials across the city for years, from Silver Lake to the Valley, and we know how these specific products behave in Southern California’s dry heat, marine layer, and occasional heavy rain.

Which Caesarstone Models This Applies To

Caesarstone’s fence line includes several distinct series, and the compatibility details matter more than most people expect. The uprights and panel inserts are not universally interchangeable between generations. If you bought your house with the fence already installed, look for a small manufacturer stamp on the inside face of the post cap or along the bottom rail. That stamp usually includes the series name and a date code, and it’s the fastest way for us to match a replacement part without guesswork.

The most common Caesarstone fence series we see in Los Angeles are the modular privacy panels with square aluminum posts and the lighter boundary screens used around pool equipment and side yards. Post spacing on the privacy series is typically 72 or 96 inches on center, and the panel rails are designed to slide into a specific channel profile. Here’s the gotcha worth knowing: the 2016 and later channel profile is slightly narrower than the pre-2016 tooling, so an older panel will not seat cleanly in a newer post without a shim or a modified bracket. We keep both profiles on hand for exactly this reason. When we quote a repair, we measure the channel width on site rather than trusting the visual match.

For the decision between OEM Caesarstone parts and quality aftermarket equivalents, we’re straightforward with Los Angeles homeowners. OEM panels guarantee the color and finish match, which matters most on visible street-facing runs. Aftermarket post caps, gate hinges, and latch assemblies from reputable suppliers are often functionally identical and cost less. We’ll give you the price for both where it applies, and we’ll tell you when the aftermarket option is the smarter call. We also stock compatible fence component parts for other brands we regularly work with, including KraftMaid, Cambria, and Silestone.

Signs Your Caesarstone Fence Installation Is Failing

  • Post lean at the gate line. The most common failure point in Los Angeles is the gate post. Years of gate swings, combined with our shrink-swell clay soils in neighborhoods like Mid-City and Echo Park, slowly widen the post hole. The fix is a deeper concrete pour, not just pushing the post back.
  • Panel rattling or visible gaps at the channel. Caesarstone panels are engineered to sit tight inside the post channels. If you’re seeing daylight between the panel edge and the post, the channel gasket has degraded from UV exposure. Once the gasket goes, the panel can score the aluminum and the rattle gets worse every windy week.
  • Gate dragging or refusing to latch. When the gate no longer closes flush, the hinges have worn or the post has moved. Letting it drag over pavers or concrete grinds down the bottom rail and eventually the gate frame itself. This is the part to catch early: a hinge refresh is cheaper than a full gate replacement.
  • White chalky residue on posts or panels. That’s oxidation from the aluminum finish breaking down, common in coastal Los Angeles neighborhoods like Playa del Rey and San Pedro where salt air accelerates it. It’s cosmetic at first, but if left alone it can pit the surface enough to compromise the panel edge.
  • Panels bowing inward. Vines, heavy plant growth, or a neighbor’s overplanted hedge pushing against your side of the fence will eventually bow the panels. Caesarstone panels are strong but they’re not built for constant lateral load. Trimming back the growth fixes the immediate pressure; we handle the panel replacement if the bow has become permanent.

Replacement Cost & What’s Included

A galley kitchen opened up to the dining room with a new peninsula

For a Caesarstone fence installation or full replacement in Los Angeles, expect $4,130 – $10,620 installed. Where your job falls depends on three things: the linear feet being replaced, whether we’re reusing your existing posts or setting new ones in concrete, and the panel series you have. The lower end covers a smaller side-yard run with reusable posts and new panels. The upper end covers a full street-facing perimeter with new posts, gate hardware, and removal of the old fence.

Every quote we write includes the parts, the labor, the concrete for posts, the haul-away of old materials, and the clean-up. You’ll get a written price before any work starts. That’s a Cedarwell Care Promise standard on every Elmstead project, and Graham has a saying he still repeats on site: “The written scope is the promise – if it is not on the paper, we have not agreed to it yet.” No change orders appear out of nowhere. If we find something unexpected when we pull the old post, we explain it, show it to you, and give you the revised number before we keep going. Our workmanship is covered by the 365-Day Done Right Promise: if the fence is not right after we finish, we make it right.

DIY or Call Us?

There are a few things you can safely check yourself. Look for the manufacturer stamp to identify your series. Check whether the gate is dragging or latching loosely. Note where the posts meet the ground and whether the concrete is cracking. You should not try to reset a leaning gate post or replace a bowing panel on your own. A gate post under tension with a heavy gate attached can come down hard, and panel removal without the right support will damage the channel and the panel edge. It’s the kind of job where a homeowner can save twenty minutes and cost themselves six hundred dollars.

If you’re in Los Angeles and your Caesarstone fence is showing any of the signs above, call us at (949) 850-9896. We’ll schedule a time to come out, measure, identify the series, and give you a written quote for the repair or replacement. Estimates are free.
