Available Franchise Territories
Elmstead Remodeling builds on a simple promise: remodels that respect the home you live in. We’re now opening protected territories in markets where homeowners want careful, accountable construction work, and where an owner who believes in the Cedarwell Care Promise can build something durable. A protected territory means you’re not bidding against another Elmstead location down the street. You’re planting the first flag in a defined area, with the brand behind you and the room to grow your own reputation. First movers in our system get the cleanest run at becoming the remodeling name their market knows.
Open Markets
These states currently have open territory available for the right owner:
- Texas – Housing growth across Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, and Austin keeps remodeling demand steady year-round.
- Florida – Older housing stock plus constant move-in traffic means kitchens and bathrooms turn over fast.
- California – High home values make remodel investment feel sensible to owners who plan to stay.
- Georgia – Suburban counties around Atlanta and Savannah are filling with families upgrading, not moving.
- North Carolina – The Triangle and Charlotte metros add households faster than new construction can serve them.
- Arizona – Sun-baked finishes and dated floor plans give remodelers steady, specific work.
- Tennessee – Nashville and Knoxville are drawing families who buy older homes and fix them up.
- Ohio – Established neighborhoods with good bones and tired kitchens, exactly the work we do best.
- Pennsylvania – Historic housing stock needs careful hands, not quick flips.
- Colorado – Front Range growth is pushing remodel dollars into existing homes.
- Washington – Wet-side and east-side markets both have aging homes and owners who care about quality.
- Virginia – Richmond, Hampton Roads, and Northern Virginia each carry steady remodel pipelines.

How Territories Work
An Elmstead territory is a defined geographic area assigned to one owner. You’re not sharing it with another Elmstead location, and we don’t stack owners on top of each other. That exclusivity is the point. You get to build the name in your area without wondering if a corporate lead will land on someone else’s phone.
Reserving a territory starts with a conversation. We look at the market together, talk through where you want to work, and map a boundary that makes sense for your capacity and the demand in the area. If the territory fits, it’s documented and held for you while you complete the onboarding steps. No vague handshakes. We put the lines on a map and the terms in writing.
Once your territory is active, you run the day-to-day as an independent owner. You price your work, you hire your crew, you answer your phone. What you agree to is the Cedarwell Care Promise: shoe covers and drop cloths inside the house, quiet tools when the kids are asleep, pet-safe products where there is a choice, a photo of the clean-up before you leave, and a written price before any work starts. The C.A.R.E. values guide how every job runs. Clean up like it’s our own home. Ask before we move or touch anything. Respect the family’s time and quiet hours. Explain the price before the work. Hold to that, and the 365-Day Done Right Promise does the rest: if it’s not done right, you make it right.
Graham Stein, Owner at Elmstead Remodeling, puts it plainly: “We’re not looking for fifty owners who sort of get it. We’re looking for one in each territory who does.”
