Blanco Kitchen Remodeling: The Los Angeles Owner’s Guide
If you have a Blanco sink, faucet, or accessory that has failed or is failing, we stock Blanco-compatible replacement parts and install them across Los Angeles. A typical Blanco part replacement runs $150 to $600 installed, depending on the component, while a full kitchen remodel that includes Blanco fixtures, cabinetry, countertops, and backsplash work in Los Angeles runs $16,520 to $53,100. Most owners discover the problem the same way: a faucet that drips at the base, a sink that no longer drains evenly, or a drain flange that has quietly corroded under the cabinet for months.
The truth about Blanco parts is that the failure is rarely dramatic. It is a slow leak at the cartridge, a strainer basket that no longer seats, a soap dispenser pump that has seized. What makes it urgent is what it does to the cabinet below and the floor underneath. We have opened cabinet doors in Pasadena and found puddled water under a Blanco sink where the owner assumed the dripping would stop on its own. It did not.
Which Blanco Models This Applies To

Blanco makes its kitchen lineup across several series: the Silgranit composite sinks, the stainless steel Precision and Performa lines, and the faucets under the Culina, Linus, and Alta names. The compatibility gotcha with Blanco is that drain assemblies and mounting hardware are not universal across the Silgranit and stainless lines. A strainer for a Precision 16-gauge stainless sink will not seat correctly in a Silgranit sink, which has a thicker, denser rim profile. Measure the drain opening before ordering: Silgranit sinks use a 3.5-inch standard opening, but certain undermount models have a slightly offset flange that requires a Blanco-specific basket strainer rather than a generic aftermarket one.
For OEM versus aftermarket: Blanco’s own cartridges and seals are made to a tighter tolerance than most generics, and they carry the manufacturer warranty. That matters in Los Angeles, where hard water from the Metropolitan Water District supply shortens the life of rubber seals and ceramic discs by roughly 30 percent compared to softer-water regions. We stock OEM Blanco cartridges, spray heads, drain assemblies, and mounting clips on our trucks, along with quality aftermarket equivalents for owners who want a lower-cost option on non-warranty repairs. We will tell you which one makes sense for your model before we order anything.

Signs Your Blanco Kitchen Remodeling Is Failing
- Water seeping at the faucet base at the end of each use. This is nearly always a worn O-ring at the base of the spout or a failing cartridge seal. It will not fix itself, and it will eventually warp the cabinet deck around the faucet.
- The spray head drips or the button sticks in the “on” position. Blanco spray heads use an internal diverter that wears with hard water and mineral buildup. The head can sometimes be cleaned, but a sticking button usually means the diverter cartridge inside the head has failed.
- The sink drains slowly even after clearing the trap. On Silgranit sinks, this often points to a misaligned strainer basket or a flattened drain gasket that is no longer creating a seal. Water sits in the bowl and owners assume it is a clog. It is usually the part, not the pipe.
- A persistent odor from under the cabinet, even with the doors open. A failed drain gasket or flange lets food particles and water sit against the cabinet floor, creating mildew. This is the one that does real damage to the toe-kick and cabinet base over time.
- The soap dispenser pump no longer draws soap, or drips down the bottle. Blanco dispenser pumps use a spring-loaded seal that mineralizes shut in Los Angeles water within a few years. Replacement pumps are inexpensive and simple to swap.

AfterReplacement Cost & What’s Included

Here is what installed Blanco part replacement costs in Los Angeles, parts and labor together:
| Part or Scope | Installed Price Range |
|---|---|
| Faucet cartridge replacement (single handle) | $150 – $280 |
| Spray head replacement (Blanco OEM) | $120 – $250 |
| Drain assembly and strainer replacement | $180 – $400 |
| Soap dispenser replacement | $90 – $180 |
| Full kitchen remodel with Blanco fixtures | $16,520 – $53,100 |
The range comes down to access. A faucet cartridge under a standard undermount sink takes under an hour. A drain assembly replacement on a Silgranit sink that requires resealing the flange and testing for leaks may take two. We write the price before we start, and it does not change once the crew arrives. Every Blanco part we install is covered by our 365-Day Done Right Promise. If it fails within the year because of our work, we make it right at no charge.
DIY or Call Us?
Replacing a Blanco soap dispenser or a spray head is within reach for a patient homeowner with an adjustable wrench and a towel to protect the sink surface. The cartridge is trickier: Blanco faucets use a retaining nut that threads in reverse on some Culina models, and forcing it the wrong way cracks the faucet body. Do not attempt to remove a Silgranit drain flange with channel locks unless you have done it before. The composite material is dense but will chip if metal jaws slip.
If you are unsure which part your sink takes, call us at (949) 850-9896. We will help you identify the model from the label under the sink and give you a straight answer on whether it is worth fixing or replacing.
FAQs

A Blanco Silgranit sink will last 20 years or more if the drain seals are replaced every 5 to 7 years. Faucet cartridges and spray heads typically last 8 to 12 years in Los Angeles, with hard water shortening that to closer to 6. If your cartridge has failed early, call (949) 850-9896 and we will check whether the Blanco warranty still applies.
Cartridges and spray heads can sometimes be cleaned and resealed, but the repair rarely lasts more than a few months. Drain gaskets and flanges generally cannot be repaired; once the seal is compressed or cracked, replacement is the only fix that holds. For most parts under $200, replacement is the better value.
Most single-part replacements, like a cartridge or spray head, take 30 to 60 minutes on site. Drain assembly work runs 1 to 2 hours because we remove the old sealant, clean the flange seat, and test the sink under running water before we call it done. You will know the timing before we show up, in writing.
Yes. Our trucks carry OEM Blanco cartridges for the Culina, Linus, and Alta faucet lines, spray heads, Silgranit-compatible drain assemblies, and soap dispenser pumps. We also keep KraftMaid cabinet hardware, Cambria and Silestone surface care kits, and common kitchen remodeling materials on hand, because many Blanco repairs in Los Angeles turn into something a little larger once we see the cabinet condition. Call (949) 850-9896 and we will tell you over the phone what we have and what needs to be ordered.
