Our promise

365-Day Done Right Promise - if it's not done right, we make it right

The Cedarwell Care Promise delivered by Elmstead, a proud Cedarwell company.

365-Day Written Promise

“Every Cedarwell company works to the same care promise: shoe covers and drop cloths inside the house, quiet tools when the kids are asleep, pet-safe products where there is a choice, a photo of the clean-up before we leave, and a written price before any work starts.”

What Our Promise Actually Means

If something isn’t right after we finish, you call us, we come back, and we fix it – no charge, no argument, no form to fill out first. That’s the short version of the 365-Day Done Right Promise, and it’s the same on every Elmstead Remodeling project, every time.

Call (949) 850-9896

What that means practically: you don’t have to document anything before you call. You don’t have to cite a clause or argue a case. You just tell us what’s wrong. We take it from there. The promise runs for a full year from the day the job is complete, and it covers the work – not a watered-down version of it. Graham Stein, owner at Elmstead Remodeling, puts it plainly: a job that isn’t done right isn’t done. We come back until it is.

Elmstead Remodeling is a proud Cedarwell company, and the Cedarwell Care Promise is co-signed at the family level. That means the commitment you get from your local Elmstead crew is the same one the whole Cedarwell organization stands behind. The family backs the brand. The brand backs the crew that shows up at your door.

Why We Answer Fast, Everywhere

A home office with a built-in desk and shelves

A one-truck shop can be great. But when that truck is busy, or the owner is on a roof across town, you wait. We built Elmstead differently. Local crews operate in their own markets – they know the neighborhoods, the local permit offices, and which suppliers stock what – but they’re connected to a national organization that keeps the logistics honest.

What that means when you call: a live person picks up, day or night. Not a voicemail. Not a bot that will route your message to someone who calls back on Monday. A person. From there, we work to get an estimator to your property within two business days and put a written estimate in your hands within one business day of that visit. We can hold that window because we’ve built the dispatch and crew availability to support it – not because we say so on a page and hope for the best.

Named-brand materials are stocked and available: KraftMaid and Wellborn cabinets, Cambria, Silestone, and Caesarstone surfaces, Kohler, Moen, and Grohe fixtures. That matters for turnaround. When the materials exist in the supply chain before the job starts, the job doesn’t stall waiting for them.

How We Make It Right

You Tell Us

Call (949) 850-9896 and tell the person who answers what’s wrong. No form to fill out before someone will talk to you, no waiting until business hours, no explaining yourself to an automated system. A live person answers, and that person can schedule the next step before you hang up.

We Come Back Out

We send the crew back to your home – background-checked, uniformed, with shoe covers and drop cloths the same as the first visit. Graham Stein’s rule on this is simple: the house gets treated the same way on visit two as it did on visit one. Same care, same standards, no corners cut because it’s a callback.

We Fix It

We do the work needed to make it right. No partial fixes, no “close enough.” If the tile isn’t sitting right, we re-set it. If the cabinet door isn’t flush, we adjust it. We use the same named-brand materials specified in your original written price – not substitutes. The 365-Day Done Right Promise covers the actual job, not a reduced version of it.

You Sign Off

We don’t close out a callback until you’ve looked at the work and told us it’s right. That’s not a formality – it’s the point of the whole process. When you’re satisfied, you say so, and we’re done. If you’re not, we’re still not done. It’s that simple, and there’s no fee attached to any step of it.

What Stands Behind the Promise

An open living space after a whole-home remodel

Promises without backing are marketing. Here’s what’s actually behind this one.

Every technician who comes through your door is background-checked and uniformed. You know who is in your home. That’s not optional on an Elmstead job, and it’s not something you have to ask for.

Every project starts with a written price – before any work begins. There’s no hourly rate that grows as the day goes on, no estimate that quietly becomes something larger once the crew is already there. The number in writing is the number. If scope changes, we talk to you first.

The materials we use carry manufacturer warranties you can look up yourself: KraftMaid, Wellborn, Cambria, Silestone, Caesarstone, Kohler, Moen, Grohe, James Hardie, and GAF. Those warranties travel with the finished project. Our promise and the manufacturer’s warranty work together – not as substitutes for each other.

And the C.A.R.E. values the whole Cedarwell organization runs on – Clean up like it’s our own home, Ask before we move or touch anything, Respect the family’s time and quiet hours, Explain the price before the work – those aren’t a slogan. They’re the operational checklist every crew follows on every visit, including callbacks.

Ask Us to Prove It

The clearest way to understand the promise is to call and ask about your specific project. A real person answers at (949) 850-9896, any hour, any day. You can also book your free written estimate online. The full terms of the 365-Day Done Right Promise are on our terms page – we’d encourage you to read them before you decide.
